Terrain is a generative projection about the reproduction of my childhood memories, creating a sense of unrealistic. The project consists of four scenes: Mountains, Moon, Sunset, Crystal ball.

Particles are the best for constructing memory. Especially, people may add their own imagination to what really happened in the past. With countless particles, I combine huge amounts of unrealistic elements with realistic scenes to convey my personal emotion towards my childhood.

Scene I. Mountains
My grandparents love Chinese paintings. Based on my memory of the old paintings in my house, I create a scene with mounatins and fog floating around, using particles to imiate the feeling of ink and brush.

Scene II. Moon
There's a poem that everytime I recite it, I feel myself back to the classroom of my primary school:
"As the bright moon shines over the sea (海上生明月),
From far away you share this moment with me (天涯共此时)."

Scene III. Sunset
My favourite book is The Little Prince. Image the little prince standing under a giant sun in the dessert, everything is between unreality and reality.

Scene IV. Crystall Ball
When I was young, my top wish is to stand under a giant Christmas tree and meet someone I love. Looking into the crystall ball, I put all my imagination towards unknown romance into that little tree.
